1. Scope

These Conditions of Entry and General Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of tickets for, and attendance at, events organized by Sept & Royal Events GbR, represented by Dennis Sept and Noel Royal, Vimbucher Straße 60, 77815 Bühl, Germany, in particular events held under the name “ZDC Raves”. Any deviating terms apply only if we expressly agree to them in text form.

Additional terms may apply to services provided by third parties, in particular external ticket and payment providers, venue operators, security providers, cloakroom operators or food and beverage providers, provided that those terms have been validly incorporated.

2. Contracting party and formation of the contract

The contract for attendance at the event is concluded between the ticket purchaser and Sept & Royal Events GbR, unless a different contracting party is expressly named in the ticket shop.

The presentation of the event in the ticket shop does not constitute a binding offer. By completing the ordering process, the ticket purchaser submits an offer. We accept this offer upon successful payment, payment confirmation, order confirmation or provision of the ticket.

The ticket purchaser must provide accurate and complete information when placing the order.

3. Prices, payment and ticket delivery

Ticket prices are displayed as final prices. We currently apply the German small-business exemption (Kleinunternehmerregelung); VAT is therefore not shown separately where the statutory requirements are met. Any additional service, payment or delivery fees are displayed before the order is completed.

Tickets are provided in the form specified in the ticket shop, in particular by email as a PDF or QR-code ticket and, where applicable, as a wallet ticket. The ticket purchaser is responsible for presenting a readable ticket at admission.

If a ticket is lost, copied or improperly transferred, there is no entitlement to a replacement unless we are responsible for the loss or misuse. If multiple copies of a ticket are presented, admission is generally granted to the first valid copy that is scanned.

4. No statutory right of withdrawal for tickets tied to a specific date

Consumers generally have no statutory right of withdrawal for tickets to events taking place on a specific date or during a specific period. Statutory rights in the event of cancellation, postponement or a material change to the event remain unaffected.

5. Personalization, transfer and resale

Unless stated otherwise in the ticket shop, tickets are not personalized. They may be transferred to other private individuals.

Private resale is permitted only at a price no higher than the original purchase price. Commercial resale, resale through unauthorized platforms, raffles without the organizer’s consent and resale at inflated prices are prohibited. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

We may block tickets where there is reasonable suspicion of forgery, commercial ticket touting or other misuse. Statutory claims remain unaffected.

6. Admission, age limit and identity checks

Admission requires a valid ticket, compliance with these Conditions of Entry and, where applicable, an official photographic identity document.

Our events are for persons aged 18 and over. Persons under the age of 18 will not be admitted, including with a parental authorization form (a so-called “Muttizettel”) or an accompanying person acting in place of a parent. We may refuse admission if the required age cannot be proven with an official photographic document. Accepted documents include, in particular, an identity card, passport or driving licence.

We may, in particular, refuse admission to or remove persons who

• are visibly heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs,
• behave aggressively, threateningly, discriminatorily, in an anti-queer, racist, sexist, abusive or otherwise unsafe manner,
• carry prohibited items,
• breach youth-protection, safety, awareness or house rules, or
• jeopardize capacity limits, fire-safety requirements or official conditions.

Where admission is legitimately refused or a person is legitimately removed for reasons attributable to that guest, there is no entitlement to a refund. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

Re-entry after leaving the event premises is not permitted unless expressly stated otherwise at the venue.

7. House rules and prohibited items

The organizer’s house rules and, where applicable, the venue’s house rules apply on the event premises.

Prohibited items include, in particular, weapons, objects resembling weapons, pyrotechnics, glass bottles, dangerous tools, illegal drugs, drinks brought onto the premises, unauthorized merchandise, racist or discriminatory symbols, laser pointers, and professional photography, video or audio equipment without prior authorization.

For safety reasons, we may have bags and persons checked at admission by contracted security staff. A check is carried out only with the guest’s consent. Admission may be refused if the guest declines the check.

8. Conduct at the event

Guests must show consideration for one another and follow instructions issued by the organizer, security staff, the awareness team, medical services, the fire service, the police and venue staff.

Discrimination, harassment, unwanted touching, violence, threats, stalking, covert photography in sensitive situations and other abusive conduct are not tolerated and may result in removal from the event.

The consumption, possession and sale of illegal drugs are prohibited. Alcoholic beverages are supplied only in accordance with statutory requirements.

9. Programme, line-up and changes

The line-up, timetable, floors and individual programme items may be changed for organizational, artistic, technical, regulatory or safety-related reasons, provided that the event’s overall character is maintained and the change is reasonable for guests. Changes to individual artists or the timetable are generally not material changes if the event substantially takes place as a rave or club night.

In the event of cancellation, postponement or a material change, we will provide information in particular by email, Instagram, WhatsApp or through the communication channels stated in the ticket shop. Statutory claims, including the right to a refund in the event of cancellation or an unreasonable postponement, remain unaffected. Refund requests may be sent to kontakt@zdc.events. We aim to respond within 14 days.

10. Interruption, safety and force majeure

We may interrupt, evacuate, relocate or terminate the event where this is necessary for safety reasons, due to an official order, severe weather, a technical fault, failure of essential infrastructure or comparable circumstances.

Whether and to what extent refunds are issued is determined by statutory requirements and the circumstances of the individual case. Voluntary goodwill payments do not create an entitlement in future cases.

11. Photography, video and audio recordings

Private photography and video recording are permitted only for private purposes and with due regard for the personal rights of other guests. Covert, harassing or intimate recordings are prohibited.

Professional, commercial or press-related recordings require the organizer’s prior consent.

We may create, or commission others to create, photographs and video recordings for the purpose of documenting and communicating the event. The focus is on artists, the stage or floor, crowd atmosphere and scenes from the event. Recordings may be used in particular for social media, the website, recaps, marketing and, where applicable, the publication of sets or other recordings. Details, legal bases, objection rights and contact options are set out in the privacy notice. Separate consent will be obtained for close-ups or promotional individual portraits where required.

If video surveillance is used at the entrance, separate information will be provided at the venue. Under the current concept, the venue is not subject to general video surveillance; this does not affect event recordings made for documentation and communication purposes.

12. Noise, lighting and health

Music events may involve high sound levels, strobe lighting, fog, lasers or other lighting effects. Guests with health risks, in particular hearing sensitivity, epilepsy, cardiovascular conditions or pregnancy, are responsible for assessing whether to attend and for using suitable protection.

We comply with applicable safety requirements and official conditions. Guests’ own duties of care remain unaffected.

13. Cloakroom and lost property

A cloakroom may be provided. Items deposited are subject to the conditions displayed at the venue. The issued token or comparable proof of collection must be presented when retrieving an item. If the token is lost, release of the item may be refused until the end of the event or until entitlement has been established. Valuables should not be left unattended or deposited in the cloakroom. Liability for items deposited in the cloakroom is governed by statutory provisions and the liability provisions of these terms.

Lost property enquiries may be sent to kontakt@zdc.events. Items may subsequently be handled in accordance with statutory requirements or handed over to the lost-property office.

14. Liability

We have unlimited liability for loss arising from injury to life, limb or health caused by a breach of duty by the organizer, its legal representatives or vicarious agents, and for loss caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

In cases of ordinary negligence, we are liable only for a breach of material contractual obligations. In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable loss typical of the contract, unless the loss concerns injury to life, limb or health.

Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.

15. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law. This applies in particular to ticket purchases, payments, check-in, identity checks without retaining a copy of the identity document, refunds, awareness cases, venue bans, lost property, and photographs and video recordings. We do not retain photographs or copies of identity documents for venue bans; where necessary, the person’s name, date of birth, reason, date, duration and an internal explanation are documented. 16. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

17. Equipment rental

Enquiries about equipment rental are non-binding until the rental period, scope, transport, setup, return, liability, deposit and payment have been confirmed individually. A rental agreement is concluded only upon express confirmation.

18. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer-protection provisions provide otherwise.

If any individual provision is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid provision is replaced by the applicable statutory provisions.

To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is the organizer’s registered office.
